Pool and Water Sports

Our outdoor level-deck swimming and paddling pools for younger children are heated from mid May to the end of September. Bathing towels should be brought.

Close to the outdoor pool is a ten seater hot tub. It provides a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views of the downs.

Studland beach is 400 yards away through our grounds, five minutes walk down a gentle slope or one minute by car.

The National Trust manages the beach and dunes and operates a visitor centre from which there is wheelchair access to the water's edge.

Sailing, excellent wind-surfing, sea-fishing, skiing and diving are available locally, and instruction too.

Swimming and snorkelling off the rocks at Dancing Ledge, Seacombe, Winspit and Kimmeridge.
