Nearly all our bookings are on a full board basis and include lunch (or picnic in lieu) taken on arrival or departure (or both, one as extra).

Tariff period 'A' (low season)
Half board terms include dinner and breakfast. Any extra lunches taken are charged at £25 per person (£12.50 per child in the Children's Dining Room).

Bed and breakfast is £20 less than the half board rate.


Periods 'B' and 'C' (peak season)
Half board visits, when available, are £15 less than the daily full board rate.

From 11th July to 29th August advance bookings are nearly all for Friday to Friday
full board only.

During the Spring Bank Holiday week bookings are mostly Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday weeks. At Easter a minimum of four nights applies over the main weekend.

Families: The basic rate is used for calculating the reduced charges for children. Please see the Junior Tariff. It is also the rate for a few independent twin and single rooms with handbasin only.

‘A’ outlook indicates varying views to the east or south beyond our outer gardens and extensive grounds. Other rooms look onto our large open Courtyard or wooded inner grounds.

Our optional cancellation insurance is explained on the booking forms which we make out and send when you wish to book.
