Here at Knoll House we feel passionate about showcasing local talent and as such, we have regular Artists in Residence display their artwork in the lounges and Wardroom for our guests to enjoy. Artwork is available to purchase with individual prices attached to each piece of art. Read more about local charity Art 4 Action who are currently exhibiting from August-December 2022 and how the organisation came to fruition.
Created in 2020 during the pandemic, husband and wife duo Malcolm and Julie came up with the concept of ‘Art 4 Action’ as a simple idea to help local artists having seen the impact that Covid-19 was having on the industry.
With events being cancelled and artists loosing out on being able to exhibit and sell work, combined with a desire to raise money for charities in response to the ongoing crisis, Art 4 Action was born.
Every few months at Knoll House, there will be a turnover of new artists showcasing their artwork which will keep the exhibition fresh. This in turn means different concepts and mediums from oil painted landscapes to abstract canvas prints to wildlife pencil drawings - there will be something to suite everyone's tastes. Each piece of artwork has a price underneath it should you wish to purchase, simply advise reception and they will assist you.
