Family Fun
As a family-friendly hotel, we have plenty of games and activities to keep children of all ages entertained.
Games room
For older children and teenagers, we have an exciting games room which includes a pool table and table tennis and ice hockey tables, as well as some vintage arcade machines! A great way to keep children, and in fact all of the family entertained, no matter what the weather.
Cinema Room
Our cinema room, with plenty of seating, is available to show films upon request. Just ask at reception for your choice of film and if available, we will put it on for you. Throughout the holidays we play matinee films every day at 3pm. If there are any major sporting events taking place during your stay, we will endeavour to screen these to get into the spirit of the occasion!
PIRATE SHIP PLAY AREA
Our original pirate ship, built in the 1950s, was an iconic part of the hotel’s heritage and played on by many generations of children. However it was in need of redevelopment and so with meticulous planning and consideration, we have recently installed a brand new, bespoke pirate ship complete with slide and climbing wall, in honour of its predecessor which we hope will provide many hours of fun for future generations.
Leisure
Many of our leisure facilities are fantastic for family holidays, including our pitch-and-putt golf course, tennis courts and paddling pool, while the grounds themselves are wonderful fun for families to explore.
